Chemical Function Dosing Method Benefits Trichloro- isocyanuric Acid 20gram tablets are a sanitiser for small above ground pools and spas. 200gram tablets are a sanitiser for larger in-ground pools. 200gram tablets are not suitable for spas. Place in the skimmer basket or a floating dispenser. NEVER place directly into the pool/spa. (1) Slow dissolving so they will provide a constant chlorine dose at all times. (2) Reduces the amount of manual dosing needed. (3) Contains Cyanuric Acid (stabiliser) so it won't be broken down by the sunlight.

 

• Place tablets in the skimming basket or floating dispenser.
• Skimmer: 1 tablet per 5 cubic metres (1100 gallons) of pool water. It will take 3 to 5 days to dissolve.
• Floating Dispenser: Fill dispenser and adjust collar to get correct rate of dissolution. It will take 5 to 7 days to dissolve. Remove the dispenser when the pool is in use.
• NEVER place tablets directly into the pool as severe bleaching/staining may occur.
• If using a feeder or dispenser ensure that the tablets used are the same chemical (trichlorocyanuric acid). If another material has been used thoroughly wash the feeder out before adding tablets.
• Maintain a chlorine level of 1-3ppm and a pH level of 7.2-7.6 in your pool.

• Fill the floating dispenser and adjust the collar accordingly. The tablets will take 10-14 days to dissolve.
• Maintain a chlorine level of 2-4 ppm in your spa.
